Campaigning and Policy Work

I have experience working with many organisations in this area such as; Muscular Dystrophy UK, Centenary Action Group, Whizz Kidz, the British Institute of Human Rights and Amnesty International.

Speaking Engagements

Previously I have spoken at events for Amnesty International, Muscular Dystrophy UK and BT. My audiences have ranged from young people to Parliamentarians.

Writing Blogs and Articles

I have been published in several publications including The Independent and The Huffington Post UK. I also produce regular content for my own website.

Accessibility Consultancy

In addition to my lived experience of disability, I have worked with a wide range of disabled people. I can offer consultancy of accessibility of physical spaces, online spaces/materials and social media.

Communications and Social Media

I have created regular website content, social media posts and newsletter content for Muscular Dystrophy UK, the British Institute of Human Rights as well as my own digital communications.

Academic Editing and Research

I was the Assistant Editor of the Queen Mary Human Rights Law Review for three years and edited the second edition of The International Journal of Mental Health and Capacity Law. I have completed several research projects for my former professors at Queen Mary University of London.

Advice and Advocacy

I have provided advice and support to disabled people on topics such as welfare, employment law and mentoring. I am a volunteer and Trustee of the Disability Law Service where I provide legal advice.
